All our Carers complete a strict recruitment process including a formal interview, DBS check and reference requests from their previous employer and a character reference. Only upon successfully completing this stage will they be offered employment.
Every Carer is then required to complete their induction within which time they will work along our more experienced carers, be introduced to our Service Users and become familiar with their care requirements. They must also complete all mandatory training and become familiar with the Companies policies and procedures. Ongoing training is provided along with career development if requested. Regular supervisions and appraisals offer practical and emotional support. We are very lucky that many of our Carers have been with us for 10 years and more.
